Swiss Diamond Prestige Cast Iron Casserole

Swiss Diamond Prestige Cast Iron Casserole

Reviewed by Arielle Matlin, Editor,

This Swiss Diamond Prestige Cast Iron Casserole is about to be your new best friend in the kitchen. The heavy-duty pot is a kitchen workhorse that is perfect for making braised recipes, stews, side dishes, and much more. The cast iron build coupled with the enameled coating makes for a gorgeous and reliable pot!

This cast iron pot is made with the same high-quality I have come to expect from Swiss Diamond's other lines of cookware. The materials are compatible with regular stovetops, as well as induction cooktops. While the cast iron takes a little longer to heat over other materials, it retains the heat far better! I also find it to be the best surface for searing meat.

A quality pot like this needs a lid that is just as well-designed. This lid has a special system to retain moisture, leading to a better dish. The top of the lid has an oversized steel knob that looks great and is easy to grab.

I like the handles on this pot because they are not very thick, but they are quite wide. This makes it easier to get a good hold on them. Since cast iron is not known for being light, this is incredibly important for carrying the pot.

You can choose between a deep blue or vibrant red enameled exterior. The pot has a classic, yet refined look that is truly timeless. This cookware is designed to last a lifetime!
