The Earlywood JEM Stripe Wooden Cutting Board is not just a gorgeous cutting surface, but truly a work of art. The board comes in four sizes, including the 13"x18"x3/4" board we reviewed. The smooth surface works well for prepping most ingredients.

The beauty of this handmade board is unmistakable. The owner, Bradley Bernhart makes all the wonderful kitchen designs that they offer. I love the use of different varieties of wood to create a remarkable design in this particular board. The majority of the board is made with dense and vibrant Bloodwood, with two stripes of hard maple, and a larger stripe of Mexican Ebony.

I am usually weary of using nice, wooden cutting boards because I am scared to "ruin" them. After using this board, I was scared the knife marks would be permanent. However, the board comes with a magical souring pad that will erase these marks as quickly as they were created.

Because the board is so remarkable, I love using it to serve cheese and finger foods when I have guests over. There will always be someone who compliments the servingware. The unique design also makes it a wonderful gift for anyone.
