Smoked Mackerel Pate

Ingredients

  • 1 smoked mackerel
  • 250g packet soft cream cheese
  • 2 heaped teaspoons of horseradish sauce (to taste)
  • a squeeze of lemon (to taste)
  • a pinch of pepper

Instructions

Mash all the ingredienbts up in a bowl until smooth. Serve in a shallow bowl, pressing down with the back of a fork. Tastes great with chilled chardonnay, pickles, melba toast/ bread, not bad as a starter.
