Pear Crisp

Ingredients

  • 6 soft, ripe pears
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Quaker oatmeal

Instructions

Heat the oven to 375 F. Spray a 2-quart glass baking dish with oil. Peel, core and slice pears and place in greased baking dish. Combine lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg and pour over pears in dish. In a bowl mix flour and butter until it makes little pebbles. Stir in brown sugar and oatmeal. Sprinkle over pears. Bake for 25 minutes or until pears are tender and top is golden brown. Serve with cream or ice cream.
