I love the idea of making a macaroni salad with your favorites dumped in. Personally, I won't put celery or red onion in my salad. But I do love the addition of olives and peas and cheddar cheese. Sometimes I put crab meat or tuna in my macaroni salad. Like the other reviewer said--it's your call!

This is almost exactly like what my Mom used to make! Only difference is she also used chopped tomatoes and cucumbers and NO peas. Yummy, yummy, yummy!

Forgot to mention that next time I make this I will use cubed cheddar cheese rather tha n shredded. Shredded cheddar cheese gave the salad an odd, grainy texture.

Delicious stuff! Use only Hellman's or Best Food mayo-and no light or fat-free mayo. If you find you want it a little more moist, add a couple of dashes of vinegar. This is good stuff!
