Black Pepper Slaw

This cabbage coleslaw recipe requires you a blender and a stove top to create the most delicious coleslaw possible. Black pepper slaw is a tasty coleslaw recipe the family will love.


  • 1 large head caggage
  • 1 bell pepper, can mix 1/2 red and 1/2 green for color
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon dill seed
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons black pepper
  • 1 cup sugar


  1. In your blender grate together cabbage, bell pepper and onion; dain well.
  2. Sprinkle the sugar over top and do not stir.
  3. Put appple cider vineger, oil, mustard, dill seed, celery seed, salt, black pepper and sugar in a sauce pan and bring to a boil for one minute.
  4. Remove from heat and pour mixture over cabbage, mix well.
  5. Keep refrigerated. Best served next day.
