Although this one pot recipe is super simple to make, it's packed with big flavor that makes it taste gourmet. Knock Your Socks Off Slow Cooker Chicken is a simple slow cooker dinner recipe with chicken, sausage, and a delicious creamy sauce. Simply mix the sauce, pour it over the meat in your slow cooker, and forget about it until dinner time. Just like that, you'll have an amazing meal everyone will love. The intense and addicting flavors come from the creamy sauce the chicken and sausage marinate in, consisting of cream cheese, garlic, mustard, white wine, and chicken stock. You'll have to try it for yourself, but trust us, it's out of this world. This recipe is hearty and filling and will satisfy at the dinner table any time of the year. It's also just decadent enough to make it feel like a treat every time.

I do not know which was better, the gorgeously succulent chicken or the absolutely divine sauce. What I do know is that we all had second helpings and there was not a drop left in the dish at the end of dinner time, lol! We used chicken thighs and chorizo sausage (because that is what we had) and it was very very good. The smokiness of the sausage was a lovely background note but, in truth, the entire dish was exceptionally tasty!

I'm looking for new recipes and this looks real good. I love sausage and cream cheese mixed in recipes together. I think this will be delish served over noodles. I haven't used frozen chicken in my crock pot though. Does this change the amount of time you cook it by much and does the texture still come out ok? I can't wait to try it.

I'm always looking for new sow cooker recipes, since I find many slow cooker recipes end up being just different versions of stew or tex-mex. but this recipe looks very different and very tasty! I love that it has chicken and sausage, I bet thats an amazing flavour combination! And my family loves anything with a cream sauce, so this is sure to be a hit. I can't wait to try it!

This is simply amazing. The combination of chicken and sausage is very pleasing, and the cream sauce just kicks it to another level. I've used a dry white wine with this and I'm curious if anyone has tried this with beer, and if so, what beer did you use? I'm trying to imagine it with a dark beer like a stout, and not coming up with anything. Any suggestions? A wheat beer?

I thought this was just a plain chicken recipe I was pleasantly surprised to see sausage in the ingredients. This will be a great slow cooker meal, with the chicken so tender after cooking all day. We love chicken and noodle recipes, so I can't wait to make this.

This chicken looks truly decadent. It looks like a gourmet chicken dish but is so easy to put together. I love cooking in wine and chicken and white wine are so delicious together. I can just imagine how tender this chicken is going to be. I'm definitely going to be making this.

This sounds like it would knock my socks off for sure. I could eat chicken every day of the week, and this is one recipe that I could see making several times a month. I like to plan ahead and cook my meals for work on Saturdays and freeze them so that I can just take them out of the freezer and put in my lunch bag. Nice idea!

This looks really good! What do you think about using plain mustard instead of the grainy? I have gotten grainy before to use in recipes and that is all I use it for and not too often. It ends up sitting in the fridge so long and I end up tossing it out. If I opted to use plain, would I need to add other spices?

You had me at "simple" and "slowcooker." This looks SO good.

It's hard to go wrong with a chicken recipe in the slow cooker- and this was no different! Loved coming home to this hearty and delicious meal after a long day at work.

This seems like such an easy recipe to make, so I will definitely be making this for dinner soon!

Well this chicken definitely knocked my socks off. I loved the sauce that it was baked in. I can't wait to make this again!

I can't wait to try this!

The recipe looks good enough to serve to guests.

It is great for guests! I like to cook, but I have a pet peeve about being stuck in the kitchen away from my guests, so I have used this recipe a few times. The slow cooker allows me to visit with friends and family and serve them something warm and filling. Chicken and sausage and white sauce go so well together. Some people in my family don't like mushrooms, so I use whole mushrooms which are easier to pick out or avoid altogether. In addition to sliced green onions, I provide a pepper mill with a gourmet mix of different peppercorns for my guests.
