Christmas Balls
There's nothing better than a classic Christmas cookie recipe to make for the family or hand out to friends. Christmas Balls are pecan balls that are just sweet enough and full of delicious flavor that will remind you of the holidays. What's even better, these cookies are super easy to prepare and make enough to share in a Christmas cookie exchange. Roll them in sprinkles to make these cookie balls look even more festive!

Ingredients
- 1 cup margarine
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons water
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 2 cups flour, sifted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
- Cream margarine and vanilla with an electric mixer, then add sugar and cream until light and fluffy. Blend in water and then flour; mix well. Add nuts and mix until combined.
- Roll 1 teaspoon of dough into a ball and dip in red or green sprinkles. Repeat with the ramining dough.
- Place cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 20 minutes.
