Chicken with Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 chicken fillets
- 30g butter
- 100g baby mushrooms, sliced
- 2 Tsp dry white wine
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1/2 tsp seeded mustard
- 2 tsps chopped fresh chives
Instructions
Cook chicken in pan with a little of the butter until almost done. Remove from pan and keep warm. Add rest of butter and mushrooms, cook, stirring, until lightly browned. Stir in wine, cream and mustard, and return chicken to pan. Allow sauce to thicken slightly and chicken to finish cooking, then serve, sprinkling with chives.
