Heavenly Chocolate Cheesecake

It's called heavenly chocolate cheesecake. Need we say more? This easy to make cheesecake recipe will definitely please with it's chocolaty and cheesy flavors. What a great combo!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • 1 env unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • whipped cream
  • chocolate shavings

Instructions

  1. Melt over hot (not boiling) water milk chocolate chips; stir until smooth. Set aside.
     
  2. Pour milk into small saucepan; sprinkle gelatin on top. Set aside for 1 minute.
     
  3. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until gelatin dissolves. Set aside.
     
  4. In large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and melted chocolate chips; beat until fluffy.
     
  5. Beat in gelatin mixture and almond extract. Fold in whipped cream. Pour into prepared pan.
     
  6. Chill until firm (about 3 hours). Run knife around edge of cake to separate from pan; remove rim.
     
  7. Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings, if desired.

what size pan best

Thanks for the great question! I would use an 9x2 inch round pan. Let us know how the recipe turns out!
