Apple Cinnamon Cheesecake

Sometimes it's hard to decide if you're in the mood for cheesecake or apple pie. Well, apple cinnamon cheesecake is the best of both worlds! Make this delicious dessert recipe and please all your taste buds tonight.

  • 2 1/2 cups Apple Cinnamon Cheerios cereal, crushed
  • 1/4 cup unbleached flour
  • 1/4 cup light margarine
  • 2 teaspoons apple pie spice
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 32 ounces fat-free cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup frozen apple juice, thawed
  • 1 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar


  1. To prepare crust, combine crushed cereal, margarine, and two tablespoons sugar in a mixing bowl. Press mixture firmly into bottom of a 9" springform pan.
  2. Chill one hour, or until firm. Or, bake in a 350 degrees F oven for 10 minutes or until edges are light brown.
  3. Cool on rack before filling. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
  4. To prepare filling, combine cream cheese, sugar, flour, apple pie spice, eggs, and apple juice.
  5. Mix until smooth. Pour into crust.
  6. Bake for one hour, or until edges are firm but center slightly jingles. Turn off oven and leave cheesecake in oven for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove and cool completely.
  8. Cover and chill several hours or overnight before serving.
