Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (hamburger)
  • 2 jars of pizza sauce
  • 3/4 package of extra wide egg noodles
  • 1 (8-ounce) package Cheddar cheese fancy shredded
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can (small) sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 onion, cut up
  • pepperoni slices, as desired

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
     
  2. Brown ground beef, and while that is browning boil the noodles (according to package directions).
     
  3. Then mix all ingredients together, but only half of the cheese, and put in a cake pan/casserole dish, top with the rest of the cheese, and bake for 1 hour.

This easy, delicious recipe would be good for a potluck dinner. Who doesn't like pasta? It would be popular with everyone. For a healthier version, I would use lean ground beef, reduced fat cheddar cheese, and skim milk. Instead of canned sliced mushrooms, I would use fresh mushrooms. The egg noodles should be drained while they are still underdone. This will ensure that they will have a good consistency in the casserole since they will continue to cook in the oven.

cook your hamberger and drain the grease then add your other stuff if you add sauage cook/drain if real greasy

I made this last week for my children and they really liked it. I'll be making it again.

I'm assuming that the "cake pan" is a 9x13

To make it really taste more like pizza--use 1/2 hamburger and 1/2 Italian Sausage!!
