Almond Brittle

This almond brittle recipe is easy and delicious. You can play around with variations and add dark or white chocolate, candy pieces, or change around the nuts and use pecans or cashews.

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 1/4 cup almonds, sliced


  1. Mix all ingredients together in a heavy saucepan and cook till you reach a rolling boil. Boil for 10 minutes stirring constantly.
  2. Quickly pour into a heated jellyroll pan and spread thin. Let cool and break apart.
