Two Egg Cake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vannilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups cake flour
  • 2 1/2 cups baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup and 2 Tbsp milk

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Cream shotening and sugar till light. Add vanilla and eggs. Beat well. Sift cake flour with baking powder and salt. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture alternating with milk. Pour into two 9-1/2-inch greased and floured round pans. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
