Holiday Coffee Cake

The holidays are a great time of year to not only give, but to eat! This holiday coffee cake recipe is the one to beat. The festive cinnamon and crunchy pecans add great flavor and texture to this cake.

Cooking Time45 min

Ingredients

  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter, melted
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
     
  2. Beat first 5 ingredients and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth.
     
  3. Pour batter into a lightly greased 11-x 7 inch baking dish.
     
  4. Stir together brown sugar, chopped pecans, 1 tablespoon melted butter, and remaining 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
     
  5. Sprinkle mixture evenly over batter.
     
  6. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 to 45 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
     
  7. Cool cake in dish on a wire rack 10 minutes.
     
  8. Cut into squares and serve.
