Heavenly Coffee Crumb Cake
Easy dessert recipes don't get much better than this Heavenly Coffee Crumb Cake. Not only is this coffee cake extremely easy to throw together, even at the last minute, it's also one of the most delicious and moist coffee cakes we've tasted. Get a little slice of heaven by baking up this brown sugar infused cake with a crumbly cinnamon sugar mixture on top. Eat it in the morning or after dinner... it's delicious any time of day!

- 2 1/2 cups flour, sifted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups brown sugar, packed
- 3/4 cup butter
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 egg
- 3/4 cup milk
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease two 8-inch square pans.
In a bowl, mix together first five ingredients. Cut butter with pastry cutter until crumbly. Don't make crumbs too fine. "
Remove 3/4 cup of crumbs for topping.
To remainder of mixture add baking powder, eggs and milk. Mix until moistened.
Pour mixture into prepared pans. Scatter crumbs on top.
- Bake for 25 minutes. When cake is cooled, sprinkle powdered sugar on top, if desired.
