Apple Cake
Ingredients
- 3 c flour
- 2 c sugar
- 1 c oil
- 1 t baking soda
- 1 t salt
- 2 t vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 3 c apples
- 1 c walnuts
- 1/2 c raisins
- powdered sugar
Instructions
Servings: 18. Preheat oven to 325. Grease well and flour 2 8" square pans (or 1 9"x13"). Chop raisins, peel and dice apples. In large bowl with mixer at low speed, mix well first 7 ingredients, constantly scraping bowl. Beat 3 more minutes, occasionally scraping bowl. Stir in apples, nuts and raisins. Spread in pans. Bake 1 hour. Cool on wire racks. Place paper doily on each cake; sprinkle with powdered sugar; remove doilies.
