To me, Salisbury steak is comfort food because I remember as a kid, having it as an entre in a tv dinner. Since I really enjoyed eating it back then, I know that I will like this version even better because it is made with fresh ingredients. When making this recipe, I would use lean ground beef, reduced sodium Worcestershire sauce, and low sodium beef broth. After cooking the beef patties, I would drain the fat. Serve this main dish with mashed potatoes and green beans, and you have a complete meal.
