Meatloaf with Macaroni Center

This recipe for easy meatloaf has a cheesy surprise inside! Your kids will love this Meatloaf with Macaroni Center, and you'll love the silence around the dinner table as your family digs in.

Notes

Variation: Try the addition of hot pepper cheese in the macaroni and cheese.

Ingredients

1 1/2 pound lean ground beef and/or ground turkey
2 cups oatmeal
13 ounces spaghetti sauce
2 eggs
3 cups macaroni and cheese, prepared

Instructions

Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F.
Combine meat, oatmeal, sauce, and eggs; mix well.
Place mixture into greased 5 x 9 x 2-inch loaf pan, pressing evenly on bottom and up the sides. Press prepared macaroni in center.
Cover and bake for 35-40 minutes. Invert pan onto flat serving dish; pour additional warm sauce over top.
