Tried this recipe? What did you think?

The subject line for the email containing this recipe states "Anna's Slow Cooker German Goulash" and the link on the page for this recipe also says this. However, when you click on the link for the recipe, a recipe comes up that is definitely not using the slow cooker, but rather is prepared in a large skillet on the stove top. This is very misleading as I was actually looking for a slow cooker recipe for goulash. I was disappointed by the incorrect information.

Oh My! I was going to make hamburgers for dinner tonight, but seeing this Great Gran's Greatest Goulash recipe has inspired me to amp it up a bit. I have all the ingredients, and love the idea that it is prepared all in one pot. We're having our 4th "NorEaster" in three weeks here on LI today. I think the "comfort food" aspect of this recipe will add to its appeal tonight.

My idea of comfort food is no doubt a big bowl of goulash on a cold night while you're cuddled up in a blanket and watching a great movie. I've never tried making it with carrots before but I'm sure it gives it more depth in flavor. I like to cook stew meat instead of ground beef in a crockpot with a sprinkle of red pepper flakes and a ton of chunky tomatoes in the sauce before adding my pasta and cheese, but it's so delicious and worth the wait!

This is the perfect thing to bring to a potluck! Personally, I never know what to bring when I'm in charge of "main dish," but this is one I'll have to try

Is it just me or is this Bolognaise under another name? Not that I mind because, for me, bolognaise is probably the best Italian dish ever! Anyway we made this for dinner tonight and it is really so very good. Simple, delicious and oh so Italian flavors make this a dish that is not only delicious but that the entire family will love as much as ours did. Easy to make too!

Goulash is an easy dinner, and so much better than those boxed meals for hamburger. I remember having it at school lunch too. Didn't they call it chili mac? This is a good meal with garlic bread and a salad. We love pasta meals at my house, so this will be a favorite.

I agree with the sentiment that one pot meals are amazing. I grew up eating goulash at school and it wasn't that great. I have learned that schools take good dishes and a lot of times ruin them. This is one of them. I love goulash now. I never really call it goulash. I call it pasta, but it's goulash. It's good stuff.

I just love one pan meals - so much less cleaning up afterwards. And I love pasta dishes like this one with dollops of melted cheese over the top. As a matter of taste, I would add some beef stock to balance out the strong tomato flavour. You could even add some green and yellow Capsicums for some colour.

I've never tried making a goulash before, but this looks so appetizing! If this is what a goulash is, then SIGN. ME. UP.
