Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars

Pecan pie recipes are a nationwide tradition, but pie can be clumsy to transport and slice. Make pecan pie dessert squares for your next get together. These Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars will be a hit!


  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup dark or light corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans
  • 1 package (12-oz.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In medium-sized mixing bowl, beat flour, 1/2 cup butter and brown sugar until crumbly.
  3. Press into greased 13x9" baking pan and ake 12-15 minutes until lightly browned.
  4. Meanwhilem in a medium bowl, beat eggs, corn syrup, granulated sugar, melted butter and vanilla extract with a wire whisk until smooth.
  5. Stir in pecans and Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels.
  6. Pour evenly over baked crust.
  7. Bake 25-30 minutes until set. Cool and cut into 2x1 1/2" bars.
