Chocolate Chip Bars

Tired of making batch after batch of cookies? Try chocolate chip bars instead! The great taste of a cookie baked into a bar to save you time without compromising flavor.

Notes

These can be made with mini chocolate chips, nuts and/or M&M baking bits.

Cooking Time15 min

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 small box vanilla instant pudding
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 package chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Cream butter, sugar and brown sugar. Add vanilla instant pudding. Add eggs, vanilla.
     
  2. Add flour with baking soda mixed in. Stir together and add chocolate chips. Pour into 9 x 13 baking pan.
     
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Pull them while they are a bit soft, yet starting to brown a little.
