Barbecue Sauce


  • 3 tb catsup
  • 2 tb vinegar
  • 1 ts lemon juice
  • 2 tb Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tb water
  • 2 tb cooking oil
  • 3 tb brown sugar
  • 1 ts salt
  • 1 ts dry mustard
  • 1 ts chili powder
  • 1 ts paprika
  • 1/2 ts red pepper


Combine all ingredients in a quart jar; shake well and refrigerate until ready to use as a basting sauce for barbecue chicken, beef or pork.
