"Persimmon is a fruit that is native to China, Japan, and Korea. It has a distinct taste that resembles that of mango. There are various varieties of Persimmon that exist. The Hachiya and Fuyu Persimmon are the more popular ones. These are recommended to make this tasty Persimmon jam. In this recipe, you can choose to use either one of the two persimmon varieties. This is such an easy recipe. You will just need 3 ingredients, persimmon, sugar and lemon and about 1 hour to make the jam from scratch with fresh fruits. Makes a lovely DIY edible gift this season. "
