"This is a delicious and filling recipe for stuffed bell peppers. The great thing about stuffed peppers is that they are easily adaptable. These are Italian inspired but you can adapt them any way you like. I used green bell peppers because I love their flavor but you can use any color you choose. These are great tasting peppers. They are really outstanding with the Italian breadcrumbs and mozzarella cheese on top."

Ingredients

  • 6 bell peppers
  • 1 onion
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 (1-pound) ground beef
  • 1 (29-ounce) tomato sauce
  • 1 dash worcestershire sauce
  • 3 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  1. Heat a pot over medium heat and brown the ground beef

  2. Drain the browned ground meat on a paper towel lined plate. leave about 2 tablespoons of grease in the pot.

  3. Add the onion to the pot and cook for 2 min.

  4. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant. (about a min

  5. Return the meat to the pot and season well with salt and pepper.

  6. Add tomato sauce, Worcestershire, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning to the pot.
