Braised Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1/2 cup chicken or vegetable stock
  • salt or soy sauce, to taste

Instructions

  1. Saute the onions in the olive oil.
     
  2. Add the sprouts and briefly sear.
     
  3. Add the remaining ingredients, cover, and simmer until sprouts are tender.
