  • 6 cup cubed sage & onion stuffing mix
  • 1 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 10 tablespoon butter, divided
  • 2 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely diced
  • 2 cup cooked wild rice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a saute pan over medium high heat. Saute mushrooms, onion, and celery for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir gently into the dry stuffing mix along with the cooked wild rice to evenly distribute.

  3. Heat chicken broth, wine, and remaining 6 tablespoons of butter in a small pan until the butter is melted and the liquid is simmering. Pour over stuffing mixture, stir until stuffing is evenly moistened, and place into a baking dish.

  4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until heated through and the top is lightly golden brown.
