Bread Maker Stuffing

Dust off your bread-maker for this Thanksgiving side dish recipe. Bread-Maker stuffing is a great option for your Thanksgiving feast and uses rich ingredients. You'll want to make it all year.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 teaspoon yeast
  • 2 1/2 cup bread flour
  • 2/3 cup cornmeal
  • 3/4 poultry seasoning
  • 1 celery seeds
  • 1 teaspoon dry sage
  • 1/3 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/4 teaspoon sugar, brown or white
  • 1/3 cup onion, diced
  • 3 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Set bread-maker cycle at White or Sweet, no timer.  Set crust setting at light to medium. 
     
  2. Can be dried or not before crumbing for stuffing.
