Halwa Chana Poori

"Navaratri or Navarathri is a Sanskrit word which means nine nights. Thus, this is a nine-day or nine-night Hindu festival which is celebrated in the honor of the divine goddess Devi Durga. The 8th day is Called Ashtami and on this day, 'Halwa', 'Chana', 'Poori' is served as an auspicious food. This auspicious Indian food is also known Navaratri or Ashtami Prasad. This Navaratri prasad always included at least three dishes Halwa is made with semolina, butter, and sugar and garnished with chopped nuts. Chana is black chickpeas which are soaked overnight, boiled and stir-fried. And poori or puri is fired flatbread."
