Scallops and Bacon

Ingredients

  • Thaw scallops if frozen, rinse and dry them; if large, cut them in
  • half. Preheat oven to 475. Wrap each in a thin slice of bacon,
  • overlapping it a little, and secure it with a wooden cocktail pick.
  • Place scallops in rows on a rack to bake or broil until bacon is
  • crisp; turn once only. Serve with a dunking sauce of melted butter
  • seasoned with lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce.
