Hasty Tasty Taco Pie
This Hasty Tasty Taco Pie is so named because it is so quick to make and so delicious to eat! Recipes using Bisquick make mealtime a snap. Get the taste of tacos in one simple dish!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped and diced
- 1 packet taco seasoning, to taste (I only use 1/4)
- 1 can (4.5-ounces) Ortega chopped green chilies, drained
- 1 1/4 cup milk
- 3/4 cup Bisquick
- 3 eggs
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 1 cup cheese, grated
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease 11 x 14-inch pan.
- Brown and drain ground beef and onion. Spread on bottom of pan; then add taco seasoning and chilies.
- Beat milk, Bisquick, and eggs until smooth (about 1 minute). Pour on top of hamburger mixture.
- Bake for 25 minutes. Top with tomatoes and cheese and cook 8-10 minutes longer. Serve with sour cream, shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and picante sauce.
