Old fashioned Lemon Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 3 Tbs. lemon juice (1 lemon)
- grated rind of 1 lemon
Instructions
Combine in saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, just until mixture comes to a boil. Makes 1 1/3 cups.
