Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 cup 1% low-fat milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Yield: 6 servings. Combine all ingredients except vanilla extract in a small saucepan. Bring sugar mixture to a boil, and cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Cover sauce and chill. Yield: 1 cup and 2 tablespoons (serving size: 3 tablespoons).
