Barbecue Beef or Pork Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 2 cup cooked beef or pork cooked, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp instant minced onions
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp oregano, crushed
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp pepper, cracked
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp salad oil
  • 1/4 cup tarragon vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 drops liquid smoke flavoring

Instructions

Combine ingredients in slow-cooking pot. Cover and cook on low 4 to 6 hours. Remove and discard bay leaf. Note: can be served over French rolls or butter toast. Makes great sandwiches too. Great to use leftover beef roast or pork roast.
