Cauliflower Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 pound bacon
  • 1 head lettuce
  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup red onion
  • mayonaise
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Instructions

Fry bacon until crisp. Drain and crumble into small pieces and set aside. In a large bowl tear lettuce into bite-size pieces and layer in bottom of bowl. Cut cauliflower into small floweretts and layer on top of lettuce. Sprinkle finely chopped red onion over cauliflower. Spread mayonaise over cauliflower and onion mixture. Mayonaise should be about 1/4 inch thick. Sprinkle sugar over mayonaise. Entire layer of mayonaise should be lightly covered. Sprinkle bacon pieces over the top. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Dont mix until ready to eat. ~
