Japanese Omelette Rice (Omurice)

Japanese Omelette Rice Omurice

"What do you get when you combine rice and omelette? Omurice! That's a funny name but in Japan it's really called like that. This dish also features chicken, peas, and ketchup. These ingredients are cooked together with rice and then topped with a thin layer of omelette. So simple yet so delicious! Omurice is especially beloved by kids. Why? I don't know. Maybe because it doesn't contain any veggies except peas. Maybe ketchup does the trick. The fact is, kids love it and it can be considered as an ultimate kids' comfort food. Me and my wife, we also loved it a lot. Who wouldn't?"
