Mixed Vegetable Pulao

Ingredients

  • 25o gm. basmati rice
  • 6 cloves
  • 100 gm. peas
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 75 gm carrots
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seed
  • 75 gm french beans
  • 60 gm. butter
  • 2 pieces cinnamon
  • salt to taste
  • 4 cardamoms
  • 250 ml. water

Instructions

Clean and wash rice. Cut carrots and French beans length-wise 1 inch pieces. Heat butter in cooker body with cinnamon, cardamoms, cloves, bay leaves, cumin. Add cut vegetables, peas and fry for 2-3 min. Add the washed rice, salt and fry for 1 min. Add water. Close lid. place cooker on maximum heat. Bring to full cooking pressure. Reduce to medium heat and cook for 3 min. Allow cooker to cool for 2 min. and open after releasing steam pressure.
