High Dumpsie Dearie Jam

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fruit made up of equal amounts of plums, pears and apples
  • 1 pound white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

Remove stones from plums and chop flesh roughly. Core pears and chop roughly. Peel and core apples and chop roughly. Boil with lemon juice and warmed sugar (because I only had 1 lb of prepared fruit this only took 10 minutes) to setting point. Let the jam stand for 10 minutes before pouring into sterile warmed jars.
