Citrus Cordial
Ingredients
- 5 oranges
- 2 lemons
- 2 pint water
- 2 1/2 pound sugar
- 1/2 ounce tartaric acid
- 1 ounce citric acid
- 1/2 ounce Epsom Salts
Instructions
Grate rind from fruit and juice. These days I peel the rind and pulverise with some of the sugar in the food processor. Add to water and sugar, bring to boil, add remaining ingredients and dissolve. Bottle. I strain before bottling as my kids complain about the bits though this is not strictly necessary. Dilute with water, soda water etc. Goes nicely with G & Ts.
