Small Piernik (pierniczki Drobne)
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tbl. water
- 1 cup honey (browned)
- 3 cup flour, white or rye
Instructions
Beat eggs until lemon colored. add sugar and flavoring. Add baking soda dissolved in water, honey, flour and mix well. Shape into tiny round balls or put on well floured board and shape into fingers or cut with round cookie cutter. Bake in 350F oven for 15 minutes. Frost if desired.
