Stromboli

Ingredients

  • 1 refrigerator pizza crust (or one handmade pizza crust)
  • 3 cup meat
  • mozzarella cheese
  • sliced mushrooms
  • 1 - 1 1/2 cups sauerkraut (optional)
  • sliced olives
  • onions
  • peppers
  • 1 - 1 1/2 cups Pizza, Spaghetti, or Tomato Sauce
  • oil

Instructions

I use a baking stone, so I don't need to prepare my pan -- but if you use anything else, you will want to lightly grease your pizza pan. Place pizza crust on pan, and roll it out as far as you can go without getting it too thin. Right in the middle of the dough, put on sauce, thickness to your liking. Then pile on meat, veggies, sauerkraut, and cheese. Pull up the sides, one at a time making a crisscross affect and making sure everything inside is covered. Brush oil on the top and sprinkle with garlic (powder or salt). Bake at 400 F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool for at least five minutes, then cut into it any way you desire -- it's a mess but boy is it good!
