Pizza Crusts

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 to 3 cups flour
  • 1 package yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Mix together 1 cup flour with yeast, salt and warm water in large bowl mix at low speed till blended then on high speed for a couple more min blending in as much of the remaining flour as possible knead in enough flour to make a stiff dough cover and let rest for about 10 min divide in half to make thin pizza, calzones etc for pan pizza use in one pan The secret to crispy thin crust is a HOT oven. I preheat 525 deg for 30 min then bake on clay tiles (unglazed from home supply store-cheap) or pizza stone.
