Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar (separated into 2 half cups)
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 can (15-ounce) of peaches

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
     
  2. Cream together eggs, butter, sugar, baking powder, salt, flour, and milk.
     
  3. Pour into 9x11 slightly greased & floured baking dish.
     
  4. Pour peaches, 1 can at a time, over the cake batter (juice and all). Note: You might not need all of both cans, use as desired.
     
  5. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar and bake for 45 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into cake part comes out clean (45 to 55 mins).
