Seashore Fettuccine

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fettuccine noodles
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz. Heavy cream
  • 8 ounce tomato sauce
  • 1 dash black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 tsp red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp basil
  • 12 ounce shrimp, cut into pieces
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 stick butter

Instructions

Cook noodles in boiling water until tender; drain well. Place in a large bowl and set aside. In a large skillet melt the butter and add the onion, shrimp, basil, red pepper, salt and black pepper. Saute for 3 minutes, and then add the tomato sauce and heavy cream. Bring this to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer until sauce is creamy. Add sauce and Parmesan cheese to the pasta and mix well. Serve immediately.
