Pizza Pasta Casserole

Pizza pasta casserole is a family-friendly dish everyone can enjoy. This recipe is written for two casseroles, so try this for a potluck or big gathering.

Notes

You can cover and freeze the casseroles for up to 3 months. To use the frozen casserole: Thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25-40 minutes or until heated though.

Ingredients

  • 2 pound ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 jars (28 ounces each) spaghetti sauce
  • 1 package (16 ounces) spiral pasta, cooked and drained
  • 4 cup (16 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheeze
  • 8 ounce sliced pepperoni

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook beef and onion until meat is no longer pink, then drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce and pasta. Transfer to 2 greased 13 x 9 x 2 baking dishes.
     
  2. Sprinkle with cheese and arrange the peppernoi slices on top.  Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes.
