Homemade Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1 heaping cup plain flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 eggshell of water (use the egg shell from your egg)

Instructions

Mix well until all the flour is moist. On a floured board, roll the dough very thin. Fold or roll the thin dough to get a long roll like a jelly roll. Slice the roll as thin as you want the noodles to be. Be sure to keep the noodles floured so they won't stick together. Once they are cut, shake out with a bit of flour and spread them out to dry for awhile. To cook, stir the noodles into the soup, then cover the pan and let it boil up three times, lifting the lid each time, then let them cook until done. (say 5-10 minutes depending on the size of the noodles).
