Carmello Pear Meringue (700 Watts)

Ingredients

  • 6 canned pear halves, well drained
  • 2 egg whites
  • 12 squares Caramello chocolate
  • 3 Tbs sugar

Instructions

Place the pear halves cut side up on a flat dish. Put 2 squares of chocolate in each cavity. Cover loosely with waxed paper an cook on HIGH 3 - 4 minutes or until the chocolate begins to melt. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Add sugar and beat until stiff Spoon the meringue on top of the pears and cook uncovered to 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Stand 2 minutes before serving with ice-cream or custard.
