Beef Marinade

Ingredients

  • 1/3 to 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 1/3 to 1/2 c. soya sauce
  • 2 Tbls. lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin or more
  • 1 tsp ground coriander or more
  • 1 inch piece ginger, grated or 1 tsp dry

Instructions

Mix above ingredients well and pour over flank steak in a flat dish. Leave all day or over night in marinade, turning frequently. I put the steak in a zip-lock bag and dump the marinade in, and I just flip the bag over every hour or so, at room temp or in refrigerator over night. Drain and barbecue or oven broil for 5-6 minutes per side. We serve this rare, sometimes with horseradish
