Creamy White Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1 stick (1/2 c.) butter
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 c. white granulated sugar
  • 1 egg white, beaten foamy
  • 2/3 c. lukewarm milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

Beat till creamed butter, shortening and sugar. Add egg white and beat well. Add milk and vanilla slowly and beat well (about 10 minutes). Frosts: 2 - 9" layers or 1 -13x9" oblong
