Ingredients
- 2 cup flour
- 1/4 ts. baking powder
- 1/2 ts. salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 12 peach halves, depends on size of fruit
- 1 ts. cinnamon
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 ts. vanilla
Instructions
Mix flour, baking powder, salt and 2 TBL. of the sugar. Cut butter into flour mixture with a pastry blender until it resembles corn meal. Pat evenly into a 12 X 8 X 2. Preheat oven to 400. Place fruit pit side up over pastry. Mix cinnamon and remaining sugar together and pour over fruit and pastry. Bake in oven for 15 minutes. Mix egg yolks, sour cream and vanilla. Pour over fruit and pastry. Bake additional 30 minutes (until sour cream mixture is golden brown).
